Welcome! Are you asking yourself, “Who is this Jodine Dorcé?” Well…
With a passion for entertaining and a savvy marketing instinct, no one knows how to produce behind the scenes while hosting in front of an audience better than Jodine Dorcé. She has been discovering, branding and promoting arts, music and culture for over a decade.
With an impressive career as an award-winning event marketer in the arts, entertainment and consumer product industries, Jodine’s behind the scenes achievements include developing, packaging and promoting products for Disney Consumer Electronics; leading sponsorship integrations for CurlFest and ONE Musicfest; producing the 2015 ESSENCE Festival and being responsible for the branding of Red Bull as a staple in the Atlanta cultural scene.
While working behind the scenes, Jodine discovered a fearless passion for hosting. Whether it be in front of a camera, for a live audience or speaking into a microphone talking to thousands of listeners, Jodine is a natural. She started hosting her own live music showcases after realizing no one else could demonstrate the same level of excitement for the artists she was promoting. This discovery led to a five-year stint on WBCX 89.1 FM producing and hosting her own radio show for the Atlanta and north Georgia markets. She also has produced and served as an on-air personality for various television and online shows, including “Capital Jazz TV,” "Beehive FM," “What’s Happenin’ TV,” The Soultracks Reader’s Choice Awards and more.
Having a passion for Brooklyn and the New York community, Jodine has been awarded the 2015 Rising Star Award by New York Congresswoman, Yvette D. Clarke representing the 9th district. Just recently, New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli honored Jodine with a proclamation for her contribution to the arts and culture of New York City during Caribbean Heritage Month.
Jodine is currently the host of the world-renowned Apollo Theater’s Music Cafe in Harlem that spotlights emerging music artists. She also guest hosts BRIC TV’s “B-Side” in Brooklyn and various events throughout the country that showcase music, empower women and bring awareness to her beloved home country, Haiti.
